NEEDS to run in background

This used to be one of my favorite apps.

This app is not as reliable as a wake up alarm anymore. I have to use another alarm as backup now, just in case.

I dont know if it is the notifications from other apps that mess it up or other reasons, but sometimes SG fails to kickoff as desired. When that happens, the backup (jarring) alarm wakes me up - which defeats the purpose of a gentle awakening.

It seems to work better on an old iPod touch - where all other notifications are deactivated and it is not connected to WiFi at night.
